The Boise Area Pickleball Association was founded in 2011 by a group of very enthusiastic pickbleballers. It began with around 18 players and just a short three months we have grown to over 40 players. In the winter months we play indoors at the Meridian HomeCourt YMCA, which has two painted courts and currently two more taped courts. We play five days a week from 9am to noon. With the four courts we can accommodate beginners as well as the 4.0 players so come one come all. Just for your information Home Court is open to pickleball players year around. Home Court YMCA fees to play are $20, plus tax, per month or they have a daily rate of $5 plus tax. Fees are for pickleball only. In the summer months we go outdoors and currently play at Hobble Creek Park, which is located behind the Boise West YMCA on Discovery, which is off Chinden in Boise. There are two dual use tennis courts with painted pickleball lines. You can play any day but it’s a “drop-in” style with first come, first play for court use. We are currently looking for more courts and will keep you updated. If you need a game just email us, in advance, and we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you.
