Our fellow club members, Jack and Joe Bonawitz, will be teaching an “Introduction to Pickleball” class through the Boise Schools Community Education system The classes will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursdays at Homecourt from February 16 to March 22.
Course listings may be viewed online at http://www.boiselearns.org/pub/
Go to the “Active Adults: Seniors” listings to see all the class listings and “Pickleball” in particular.
So tell all your friends, family, and neighbors who might enjoy learning our favorite sport and the fastest growing sport in the country, spread the word.

Any chance of an introductory class in the evenings or on a weekend for those of us
seniors still working?
Sounds like a great game for us former tennis players.
Thanks
Mike,
Thank you for your comment re: Upcoming Introduction to Pickleball Classes – We would really like to give evening and weekend classes for those seniors and non seniors that have to work, but unfortunately right now we don’t have the courts for evenings… HomeCourt YMCA allows us to play in the mornings because there are no conflicts with the kids – in the afternoons and evenings it’s all basketball and volleyball for the kids… When we venture outside for the summer, then we will be happy to have evenings classes – so continue following our blog for the announcement!! Thanks again for your comment, if by chance you can get a day off of work to come watch and play with us, we would love to have you… We are at HomeCourt now Mon-Fri 9am to noon…

Mike,
I’d be quite willing to teach a Pickleball class in the evening–several people I know have expressed regret that we don’t offer a class at that time–but space is an issue. This spring we’ll see if we can’t find space at Homecourt, or possibly offer an outdoor class. Stay tuned….
